Hello.
Sam Rodeghier is a Multi-Media artist, focusing primarily in Photography and Video creation. He has achieved an Associates of Arts in Communications from Southwestern Michigan College, with a specialization in Creative Writing. He has also earned an Associates of Science in Multi-Media Production from Kalamazoo Valley College, with a specialization in Videography. For the year of 2019 he worked at the Public Media Network, a public television broadcast studio, in downtown Kalamazoo Michigan. He has been using and practicing with cameras of many kinds since 2004, and video editing since 2010.
Sam is a lover of all forms of art; striving every day to be a modern renaissance man. From painting to story-telling, cooking to photography, poetry to video, animation to gardening, music to crafts, and everything in between; he prides himself on having many fields to borrow inspiration and techniques from.
When not working and growing his talents, Sam enjoys: spending time with cats, hiking and camping, and enjoying the company of good friends.
“I like to make art that represents the human condition. I employ themes of wonder, love, gloom, surprise, melancholy, awe, and dread in my art; emotions that are intense and shared by all. I want my art, regardless of its medium, to communicate a distinct personality. To be easily understood by any viewer who comes across it, but unique in its understanding to each witness.”
